Outdoor Spaces
A wonderland of delightful and inviting outdoor spaces surround and connect the buildings at Stone Chalet. Our porches and patios are ideal for bar or buffet, and easily accommodate seating for a ceremony or just sitting around with friends.
And it’s hard to imagine a more perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony than an open gazebo set amongst flowering trees! Whether relaxing or exploring, celebrating or sneaking away for a break, you’ll soon discover your own perfect alfresco spot in the gardens at Stone Chalet!
Gazebo Gardens
The Gazebo Gardens are located behind the main house and Parsonage and in front of the Carriage House on the north east side of the property.
The space is anchored by the gothic influenced gazebo in the center and has a path through it.
The Gazebo can be used for wedding ceremonies, bar set up or small meetings.
The Pergola Patio on the side of the property is included in the Gazebo Garden rental.

Singing Frog Pond Patio and Garden
Located behind the Event Hall and Parsonage, the area is composed of the singing frog pond, Shula's Green and the Parsonage Patio.
The Green or Patio can support seating up to 50 chairs and standing to 100.

Front Porch
The front porch at Stone Chalet is 54 feet long by 8 feet deep. You can set up four small dining table with our red umbrellas for dinner on the front porch.
It makes a great location for photos.
The front lawn is sloped to the street and it faces Washtenaw Avenue.
