Shula

May 22, 2014

Shula is our cat.

Shula lives at Stone Chalet.  The prior owner decided it would be best if he stayed and we thought he was just so cool we were glad to have him with us! Thank you for leaving Shula with us.

He’s a real character.  He’s about 20 or 22 years old and is very friendly and “talkative.”

He also likes to be warm.  During the winter we’d find him sleeping right next to the hot water boiler.  He apparently got too close once and just take a look at his whiskers:

This apparently didn’t stop him.  We keep the door closed but left it open while working in the basement and I found him back there again.

Here’s a picture of Shula complaining to be let into the house. Notice the whiskers.

I’m also very allergic to cats but since he’s not too active he doesn’t seem to bother me too much. One day recently he snuck into our bedroom and decided to take a nap on our bed. He was just too cute to move and slept there soundly for about three hours.

He’s so cute!!!

When we were deciding what to name our Bed & Breakfast business we thought that a name that was simple and stated exactly what is was would appeal to our engineer’s sense of how things should work.
